Privacy policy — DRAFT

DRAFT FOR LEGAL REVIEW. This text is not in force yet and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It was written based on Brazil's data protection law (LGPD); whether it meets the EU GDPR, the UK GDPR, the US COPPA or state privacy laws has NOT been assessed. In the meantime, the policy in force is the one published in Portuguese.

1. Who handles your data

  • Channel for your requests: contato@myhobbyday.com.

2. What data we use

  • The hobby quiz in English stores nothing on our server: your answers travel only in the result link.
  • If you create an account in the future: email, date of birth (never shown), username, display name, city and what you post, comment or send.
  • Texts blocked by the content filter (in conversations involving minors): a short excerpt, with numbers hidden, for 180 days.

3. What for

  • Running the site and your account.
  • Applying the age rules: accounts in English are 18+ only.
  • Handling reports and keeping users safe.

4. Who it is shared with

Your data is not sold. It passes, only as needed, through:

  • The server hosting the site, the database and photos: a virtual server rented from Hostinger and managed by us.
  • Resend, which sends system emails (confirming your account, resetting your password).
  • Titan, the contact mailbox.
  • Cloudflare, for the anti-bot check at sign-up and log-in.
  • Google Analytics, only if you allow it in the cookie notice and only on public pages. We do not use ads or advertising pixels.

5. International transfers

My Hobby Day is run from Brazil, and some providers may process data in other countries, such as the United States. The safeguards that apply to people living outside Brazil are pending legal review.

6. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data by writing to contato@myhobbyday.com. The specific deadlines and rights in your country are pending legal review.

7. Children

Accounts in English are 18+ only, and the database rejects accounts of minors in this language. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us.
